HibernX Frozen Plasma Stores
The HibernX revolutionises the plasma production process by providing complete automation and full traceability during storage. The series was developed to meet the demand for long/mid term plasma storage and convenient access to individual FFP units.
Ideal for blood donation centres, plasma collection centres and hospital blood banks.
The HibernX units store individual units on reusable trays or in disposable carton boxes, which fit on uniquely designed compact shelves. These shelves are accessed by a XYZ-coordinate robotic handling shuttle system. Within minutes plasma units can be retrieved based on chosen criteria, such as: donation id, quarantine status, blood group, donation date, etc.
The fully featured system control software manages all storage processes, monitors temperature and key climate conditions. The software interface enables simple integration with existing or commonly used LIMS system.

Designed for flexibility; the storage layout is made to fit the exact number of plasma units needed and the available space. Suits sample collections from 10,000 units to over 200 000 (300 ml plasma bags). However, HibernX can store 600 to 800 ml samples, as well as paediatric doses of 100 ml, or any combination of these types.
